ProgramThe Parent Mentoring Program of Saskatchewan (PMPS) is a home-visiting based, outreach program that provides assistance and support to parents who are pregnant or parenting newborn to 5 year olds. Parents are matched with a volunteer mentor or a para professional who will enhance the parent's ability to effectively care for her/his children and self.
“Having a mentor has helped me find the resources in the community that have helped me become a better parent. It has made me more confident and definitely more outgoing. PMP is a fantastic program. I would recommend this program to young mothers, first-time mothers, and to people who are new to the community.”

“I would like to thank everyone for helping me and my daughter, sharing and creating the irreplaceable friendships throughout the past 5 years. PMP offers knowledge and gives parents the courage to show that change is possible and that sometimes a little knowledge and friendship opens fresh ideas and better opportunities. This program offers a variety of topics that parents may use to improve their family’s dreams and goals. Thank you.”
